Ciara and Tim first met Portstewart in 2005. Tim had met Ciara’s friends the week before so this was a chance encounter which lead to Tim asking for Ciara’s number and the rest as they say is histroy.

After a very romantic engagement on the Belfast Wheel, Ciara and Tim began planning their intimate wedding celebration at the stunning Red Door in Donegal.

The couple were super lucky as it was an incredible day and the mood was relaxed as they made the nuptials. We then visit the Fahan Pier for their wedding photos and had great fun with the wedding party on the beach. It is clear that Ciara and Tim are made for one another and their love shone through as I photographed the newlyweds together. On return to the Red Door they hung out with their guests and enjoying an amazing meal before I stole them for another shot or two as the sun went down. It wasn’t long before the band was rocking and Ciara and Tim took to the dance floor to boogie the night away!

The sun split the sky and Culdaff House was an amazing place for portrait photography as we had boats, tractors, gorgeous chabby chic doors and so much more.

For their pre-wedding shoot we met at Stragill Beach on a super sunny day and we had fun exploring the beach and getting to know one another. It is clear that Amy and John are crazy about each other and I enjoyed their hilarious banter during the shoot. Based in Chicago, they will travel to Donegal this August for their wedding as the gorgeous Red Door in Fahan and I for one can’t wait!

On a beautiful November day, Barbara and Karol tied the knot with a gorgeous ceremony at Iskaheen Chapel in Muff, followed by a beautiful reception at Redcastle Hotel.

Returning from hair and make-up, the bride to be and her bridesmaids looked stunning and I had time to capture a few relaxed images of Barbara preparing for the day ahead. The light was beautiful and I knew I would have the chance to capture some gorgeous images of the day.

Arriving at the chapel, Karol was in great form as he eagerly anticipated the arrival of his bride. They both beamed on seeing one another in the chapel for the first time and a smile didn’t leave their faces during the ceremony. After some family photos we headed back to Barbara’s family home where everyone enjoyed treats and a cup of tea. We then made for Redcastle were I captured some images of the guys golfing, before we shot the bride and groom. On arriving at the hotel the light was going down and I knew I had about ten minutes of light left to capture some images of the couple on the famous terrace at Redcastle Hotel. After a shot or two I saw the faintest sliver of orange in the horizon and I knew we were in for a treat. I ran back to get my off camera trigger (so I could use some off camera flash) leaving Barbara and Karol to talk about how happy they were and how amazing their day was so far. As the sunset developed it became clear to me that this was a good omen for the couple’s future together as it was one of the nicest sunsets I’ve ever seen and the nicest I’ve ever been lucky enough to photograph. Over the next five minutes we had such a laugh capturing some of the most beautiful wedding photos of Redcastle Hotel and the couple.

On returning inside, Barbara and Karol mingled with their guests and then the couple made an entrance to the Ocean Suite where they enjoyed really funny speeches, a lovely meal, music, dancing and lots and lots of fun into the wee hours!

On one of the coldest days ever (ok so maybe not ever), Roisin and Darren tied the knot in spectacular fashion at the wonderful Redcastle Hotel in Co. Donegal.

They were one of the winners of my wedding competition earlier in the year, so expectation was high for their day and their wedding images. In the morning I had the chance to capture Roisin and her sisters preparring for the day ahead. The mood was relaxed and the excitement was palpable. Arriving at the chapel Darren and his groomsmen were in high spirits as we captured some images of them having a laugh before the service.

Roisin and Darren are clearly made for one another and this was evident as the couple set eyes on one another in the chapel. Throughout the service they stole a smile and they could not have looked happier. Following the service we made our way to Whitecastle for some images and the couple and bridal party deserve a medal (or a Blue Peter badge at least) for braving the cold, but it was soooo worth it. After some tea and treats we made for Redcastle were Roisin and Darren celebrated their day with their closest friends and family.

While the wind blew and sun shone, Sheena and her bridesmaid’s preparred for the day ahead. Wynetta O’Connor and Joanne Cooke were busy with the amazing hair and make-up and the atmosphere was jovial in the house. Just a hop skip and a jump away Chris was having a laugh with his groomsmen as he awaited his stunning bride. Setting eyes on one another the couple beamed, as did their guests who were there to share in the joy of their day.

After some family photos and a cup of tea back at the house we made our way to Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa, stopping for a few photos in a stunning garden near the venue. As we shot the light was beautiful and Sheena and Chris had a chance to take the day in. Arriving at the venue the couple mixed with their guests before making their way to the room, which looked amazing and they enjoyed a lovely meal, laugh out loud speeches and dancing into the wee hours!

Sheena’s dress was spectacular.

I really enjoyed capturing Avril and Tom’s wedding day, they are such a lovely couple and their day was sun kissed!

In the morning Avril and her bridesmaids were chatty and relaxed as make-up artist Katie put the finishing touches to the bridal party’s make-up. I shot most of the details outside and a few photos of Avril with her mum and dad. Tom and the groomsmen were on great spirits and throughout the service the couple smiled and whispered to one another.

We then made our way to Sion Mills for their photos and I was blown away by this stunning location. The sun split the sky and I was in heaven as I captured images of the bridal party and Avril and Tom.

The couple made a confetti covered entrance to Kees Hotel and had a chance to hang out with their guests before their lovely meal and hilarious speeches. After a few images outside, Avril and Tom hit the dance floor to dance the night away!

I loved Avril’s shoes.

I had a great laugh with Tom and the groomsmen.

A great tip for where to keep your lipgloss so you have it at all times!

Caoimhe and Shane, who are based in Philadelphia, are a really lovely couple and after their gorgeous engagement session at Downhill Beach with their cute son, Eoin, I was really looking forward to capturing their wedding at the stunning Redcastle Hotel.

The bride is really laid back and the morning was very relaxed as they prepared for the day ahead. Shane and his groomsmen were in great spirits and I had a chance to capture a few images of them before the service. During the service the couple looked so happy and they proudly looked at son Eoin, who was watching the proceedings. Following the service we made our way to Redcastle and the sun started to appear in the sky. We had fun capturing some images of the bridal party, Caoimhe and Shane and their families. The couple shared a drink with their guests before making their way to the Ocean Suite for a lovely meal and dancing into the wee hours!

Eilis and James had a gorgeous Donegal day for their stunning wedding. I loved all of the gorgeous details Eilis had and was in heaven capturing some images of them. Kayleigh Clarke second shot for me at the wedding capturing some nice candid images. Eilis and girls were in great spirits as they prepared for the day ahead. I met James at Ishkaheen Chapel in Muff, and he was greeting his guests with a smile. The service by Father Farren was lovely and Eilis and James smiled throughout. Following the service we made our way to beautiful house nearby for photography and had a really fun time shooting the bridal party, Eilis and James and their families. Arriving in Redcastle Hotel the atmosphere was jubilant and the couple had a blast celebrating with their  closest friends and family.

My family has known Claire’s family since way back when and her Aunt and Uncle are my Godparents, so when Claire intially got in touch I knew I would have a great time capturing her and fiance, Peter’s wedding day.

In the morning I captured Claire’s details and had fun with the girls as the prepared for the day ahead. I was off to a flying start and on meeting Peter at the service, it was clear that he was really excited about the day ahead. Throughout the service the couple smiled and after had fun catching up with guests and getting some family photos taken. From there we headed straight to the wonderful Redcastle Hotel in Donegal and while a little windy, we were graced by the odd beam of sunshine. The bridal party were a blast as we captured some fun images of them hanging out before spending some time with Claire and Peter.

I loved the theme of their wedding with lots of cool details it was clear to see that everything was done with love. Following a gorgeous meal the couple enjoyed hilarious speeches before hitting the dance floor to celebrate with those closest to them.
