Even the rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of Mairead and David on their wedding day. They were both beaming with happiness and throughout the day it was amazing to capture some beautiful images of them as they enjoyed thier wedding day!

After their service we visited Learmount for their creative shoot and having Marryokes along for the ride only added to the fun of the shoot and the day.

On arrival at the Silver Tassie, a photobooth gave the couple and their relatives yet another chance to fool around and have some hilarious pictures to remember the day by. The fun was never-ending and it was safe to say that everyone was in a cheery mood during Mairead and David’s super fun wedding day!

A documentary that really stood out to me was ‘Dreams of Sushi’.  It told the inspiring story of an eighty-five year old Japanese man who has dedicated his life to perfecting his craft of making the perfect sushi. While he has being doing it for a lifetime, he still strives to find fresh approaches to his work and to improving his craft.

Even though I hate fish (I like looking at them when scuba diving), the sushi looked mouthwatering!

I think there’s a valuable lesson for us all there as it demonstrates how important it is to perfect your craft, to keep learning and stay passionate. I hope I’m still taking photos at the age of 85!

Aisling and John Barry have eloped and so it’ll just be the two of them, which is going to be really special.

This evening we hit the beach for twenty minutes to shoot a mini engagement session (you can check out their original engagement session here) and I thought I would share the images with you.

I love this image so much!

We met at Victoria Square in the heart of Belfast City Centre and the heaven’s opened. Ducking for cover and using Victoria Square as respite from the rain we got some great images, even popping into Urban Outfitters at one point.

Really looking forward to capturing this very cool couples wedding at Crawfordsburn Country Inn soon.

I met them at Conor’s family home for their engagement shoot in Ballycastle and I was wow’d by the stunning view, which took in Rathlin Island. It was great to meet Conor’s dad too and he was shooting a few photos from the house, which was really funny as Conor and Niamh giggled away!

We then made our way to the harbour and checked out their cool boat – I just love shooting in Marina’s and it was clear to me that Niamh and Conor are made for one another!

I loved hearing all about Niamh and Conor’s life together and their plans for their wedding at Rosapenna Hotel and Golf Resort this August. I for one cannot wait!

Selina and Paul met at Cambridge University and the couple hit it off straight away. London based, Selina works for the Economist, while Paul is a master milliner, whose designs grace the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week.

In the morning as Selina prepared for the day ahead, I was touched by just how proud her mum and dad are of her.

The service took place in Selina’s family’s hotel, The White Horse and was so beautiful and heartfelt.

We visited some gardens with my second shooter, Helen McCarter for photographs and had such a laugh with the bridal party.

Back at the White Horse the couple mingled with their guests before entering the ball room for an incredible meal with so, so, so many personal touches and fun surprises. Later on Selina and Paul took to the dance floor and the Hudson Blue Band ensured everyone was out of their seat and rocking the dance floor!

Selina’s dress was truly incredible.

What a stunning bride.

The location for our photoshoot was the stunning Ulster American Folk Park (where Evin’s mum works) and it was such a fun and varied location to shoot in.

I loved hearing all about Jane and Evin’s love story and can’t wait for their fab wedding at Beech Hill Country House next year.
