I’ve been in the US for just over week now for WPPI and I thought it would be cool to reflect on my trip so far. I arrived in LA and collected my convertible – check it out below.
It was late at night, but I, like all of the other people collecting their cars put the top down for my journey into the city. Driving on the freeway in Los Angeles is crazy! Cars coming from all directions flying – I was so glad to reach my hotel.
The next day I took a bus tour around LA, the Rasta Bus! The tour took me to all of the key sites in LA including Malibu, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, and Griffith Park, and I had a chance to shoot a few images as we went. I fell in love with LA straight away.
The next day I checked out Santa Monica which has a really cool laid back vibe. I had a chance to ride the roller coaster which made the loop the loop in Barry’s look like a crazy ride. I made my way back to Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and caught a movie and then went to the legendary Comedy Store.
I stayed in Downtown LA beside the Disney Centre – I love the look of the building.
The next day, I travelled down to Newport Beach where I met up with Paul Robison from the [b] School and he gave me a tour of the OC.
We visited this beautiful beach where Paul often shoots.

Another stunning beach in Laguna. All in all I had a really great day out with Paul and I’ll catch-up with him again at WPPI this week in Vegas. You can view his iPhone images from our day out here.
Returning to LA, I stayed by Universal Studios and I spent most of the day hanging out at City Walk and recharging my batteries for the next leg of my US adventure.
